Le Centre de recherche bretonne et celtique (CRBC, UR 4451 UBO / UAR 3554 CNRS-UBO) , fondé en 1969 par Yves Le Gallo, est un laboratoire de recherche pluridisciplinaire de <a href="https://www.univ-brest.fr/crbc/fr/page/enseignantes-chercheures-et-professeurs-emerites" target="_self">34 enseignant·e·s-chercheur·e·s statutaires</a> (historiens, de l’antiquité à nos jours ; linguistes, celtisants et anglicistes ; ethnologues ; sociologues ; littéraires principalement) qui investissent des thèmes et des terrains de recherche relevant des aires culturelles bretonne et celtique. Mais il·elle·s mènent également, à titre comparatif, des recherches individuelles ou collectives sur d’autres terrains, à l’échelle de l’Europe, notamment atlantique, voire au-delà. Le CRBC compte également <a href="https://www.univ-brest.fr/crbc/fr/page/personnels-dappui-la-recherche-itrf-et-ita" target="_self">9 personnels d'appui à la recherche</a>, <a href="https://www.univ-brest.fr/crbc/fr/page/doctorantes-et-post-doctorantes" target="_self">31 doctorant·e·s</a> et <a href="https://www.univ-brest.fr/crbc/fr/page/chercheures-associees" target="_self">101 chercheur·e·s émérites et associé·e·s</a>.&nbsp;

The Centre de recherche bretonne et celtique (CRBC, UR 4451 UBO / UAR 3554 CNRS-UBO), founded in 1969 by Yves Le Gallo, is a multi-disciplinary research laboratory with 34 statutory teacher-researchers (historians, from antiquity to the present day; linguists, Celticists and Anglicists; ethnologists; sociologists; mainly literary scholars) who work on themes and research fields relating to the Breton and Celtic cultural areas. But they also carry out comparative research, individually or collectively, in other fields, across Europe, particularly the Atlantic, and even beyond. The CRBC also boasts 9 research support staff, 31 doctoral students and 101 emeritus researchers and associates.&nbsp;

The digital resources deposited on Nakala by the Centre de recherche bretonne et celtique (CRBC) are the result of digitization campaigns of some of the 170 archival fonds deposited at the CRBC since its creation in 1969.
